On Wednesday night, September 21, Ring of Honor star and current Full Impact Pro Heavyweight Champion Homicide joined hosts Brian Fritz and Vito DeNucci (Dickerman on vacation) on Central Florida's Sports Radio 740 The Team to discuss his career and the upcoming FIP live events in Crystal River, FL on October 7 and Bushnell, FL on October 8. "The Notorious 187" Homicide will defend the FIP Heavyweight Title against "The Soul Assassin" Rainman in Bushnell.
Homicide said he considers Florida a second home and enjoys wrestling there, remembering the days of Dusty Rhodes and Kevin Sullivan and Championship Wrestling from Florida.
He said Ring of Honor was about wrestlers bringing their A-game every night with a blend of different styles from high-flying to strong style. He compared ROH to All Japan Pro Wrestling.
Homicide said he's been wrestling for twelve years almost every weekend and is a little banged up since he doesn't take care of his body as much as he should.
He talked about his first night in FIP where he won a tournament to win the FIP Title in front of only 10 people. The company has grown to crowds of 200 and more thanks to incredible talent working on every show.
He considered it an honor and is still in shock that Mick Foley has been saying such nice things about him. He noted how people back in the day called him a "wannabe New Jack" and is now proud that Mick Foley is on his side.
Homicide said he would describe himself as a mix of Terry Funk and Kevin Sullivan when it comes to brawling. He has a unique style where he can fly and also do hardcore matches. He's studied tapes of Funk, Sullivan, Arn Anderson, and even Dusty Rhodes for charisma.
When asked about possibly joining TNA, he said he would love to work for TNA, but for now "it's a big rumor."
He told a funny story about how six year old fans chant "Homicide, Homicide" when he works as a babyface and laughs wondering if the kids actually realize what it means. He said he would have no problem changing his name if necessary if he joined TNA or WWE.
"The Notorious 187" Homicide will be in action for Full Impact Pro Wrestling on October 7 at the Crystal River National Guard Armory in Crystal River, FL and on October 8 at the Sumter County Fairgrounds in Bushnell, FL. In Bushnell, he will defend the FIP Heavyweight Title against "The Soul Assassin" Rainman. Tickets are only $15. Doors open at 7:30pm with belltime at 8:00pm ET on both nights. Other talent on the FIP shows include Austin Aries, Colt Cabana, FIP Tag-Team Champions The Heartbreak Express, Roderick Strong, Jimmy Rave, Jerrelle Clark, Sal Rinauro, and Tony Mamaluke.

Kunne godt t?nke mig at se hvad Homicide kunne g?re i TNA. Der var nogle rygter om en latino stable med Konnan, 'Cide og Apollo, som vist er det de hentyder til(?)
Men, ja, nice interview. Sm? b?rn der chanter morder/mord af en mand, er jo grund nok til at elske pro wrestling
